Importance of Women

“No nation can rise to the height of glory unless your women are side by side with you.”  Muhammad Ali Jinnah

As a nation and as an Islamic Country we are bound to respect women and give them their proper and deserving place in the society. Islam was the first to give respect and honor to women in a society where women were looked upon as a mere tool for reproduction and fulfillment of desire and nothing else. Pakistan would not have been possible without the efforts and the role the women. Looking at this great and important role of women Muhammad Ali Jinnah always supported and encouraged women leadership. The importance of role of women can be well acquainted from the quote of Quad-i-Azam above.

A country that produced brave women leaders like Fatimah Ali Jinnah and daughter of the East Benazir Bhutto, women of that country now faces brutality, violence and extremism. Mukhtara Mai is just one example. There are hundreds and thousands of cases that goes unreported in which women are suppressed, tortured, raped and beaten up. Most of the time women are forced to marry men double of their age and they could not speak a word to defend themselves.

This social injustice and brutality needs to be stopped and someone has to come forward. Stopping or even lowering such cases is not only a social responsibility but is also our Islamic duty. Our faith teaches us to respect women, honor them and guard them against all evils and this could only be done by empowering women through education and giving them justice. Justice will give them confidence and confidence can do wonders.

Women is an important part of our lives, a part that completes our lives. Women is like a morning nectar of the rose that sends its fragrance into the air and freshens everyone, similarly women with their love as a mother, wife and sister are enriching our lives.

Value Your Women.

POSITIVE IS CREDIBLE

How many of us would still try after we fail 1005 times? Most of us would stop trying after a couple of failures or maximum after ten, twenty tries. But Colonel Sanders (KFC guy) tried 1006th time and today we all know where he is. This is the difference between success and failure. It’s the positive attitude towards life that makes the difference and that is why “Positive is Credible”.

We all are enriched with the positive attitude from the nature. A kid when first tries to walk, falls down but does not give up, instead keeps trying and eventually starts walking. Who tells him to try once more when he has already failed so many times? It’s the gift from the nature that we all receive when we are born. We are given the key to success (positive attitude) but unfortunately as we grow up, we begin to give up on the great gift.

We all start to think negative either because we are afraid of failures or we fear that the society we live in will make fun of us. A boy in the class stands up and asks a question. What does he get in reply? Laughter from his friends and an inappropriate answer from his teacher which dents his confidence. This is where negativity starts to creep in. How can we then expect a boy with a broken confidence and negativity in mind to work as well as those with the positive attitude?

Positive is credible. Almost all of the successful people in the world are positive. Thomas Edison didn’t fail 1000 times but he found 1000 ways that will not work. It is not what happens to us that determine how our lives will shape up; instead it’s what we do to what happens to us that determine our faith. How many people with negative take on life have you seen successful? None. It’s about seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, watching half glass full and not half empty and hoping for the new dawn after every dusk that separates best from the rest.

Negativity defeats you; it kills your creativity and stops you from progressing. But positivity raises you up from the ashes and wins you battles of life. The King was defeated and was negative in mind but after seeing an ant trying so hard to climb up the wall that had failed so many times already, he rose, developed positive thoughts and won the kingdom back. This is what positivity does to you. It teaches you how to win; in fact it brings you a step closer to the win. Hence, nothing in the world is credible but only positive.

Corner Standing Child.

Its night again, its me and my loneliness again. People look at me and they say "this guy has it all, the money, the fame, the looks, the talent", but no body knows how I am when its me and myself alone in one dark room of life.

Smiling face, glowing eyes and naughty nature, that is how people  perceive me. What I am, is wt people know not. Lost in the memories of the past, some good and some bad, I am like a clock that ticks with every passing second, not knowing how long am I suppose to tick-tock at the hour of life. But wait! I have the best life, thats what people say.

Like a pendulum, I am in constant motion, swinging to and forth between joys and sorrows. Joys because thats how people know me , A happy bright young man that has everything one wishes to have in life and sorrows because deep down inside am this little scared child, standing at the corner of a dark room, who does not know what his future holds up for him.

But there is light at the end of the tunnel, there are bright stars in a dark sky and there is hope for the standing cornered child. Darkness will vanish, pessimism will disappear, sorrows will wash away and bright new sun will appear just as it appears at the start of each day, throwing its bright rays like a magical spell caste.

Life with all its difficulties and bad times is still beautiful. You dont need to keep standing at one corner rather you need to open the door, step forward and start living the life as it is supposed to be lived. Live in the true Essence of Life cause its only few moments that we have so lets make them count.

New Year, Old time.

Its eveing again, its dark and its cold. Is it just another winter's evening or does it hold something that brings smile and tears into one's soul. Its not just another evening, its new year's eve.

What have I lost, what have I gained past one year? this very evening one year before, where was I, what was I doing? was I with friends? Was I enjoying? I look around  and find emptiness, I see through the window and find loneliness. Am I the same person that I was one year before or have I changed, i ask myself. But I can lie to myself, I can decieve my heart telling it that i have not changed, I dont have freinds now who could tell me how have i turned out after a year and probably thats why i feel the emptiness and lonliness in ma world.

Most of the time we dont value the time we have in hand rather praise and cherish the  memories we have had. But the truth is that memories are made when you are in your present, enjoying it and living it. You tell yourself that you had a great time last new year night but dont see the great time your spending right now which probably you will be cherishing in the future.

So lets wake up from the memories of the past and make some new ones. Lets live in the present and live so well in it that they turn out to be the best memories ever, lets sing and dance for the present and lets hold the hands of our friends telling them how much we value them, lets just move on with the miseries we have had and look for a brighter future, lets just loose control when laughing, lets break all the barriers that are withholding us from living our lives, LETS JUST LIVE.

When I grew up

I touched the heater and immediately pulled ma hand back, that's where I had ma first lesson . I tried to stand and i  fell down I tried again and fell again, after a few tries I was walking , thats when i knew that we get whatever we want if we keep trying. I discovered that we are instilled a massive energy by the creator, of keep trying no matter wot.

But as I grew up I began to listen to people who would tell me that 'I Cant' and eventually started to beleive them. As they put it that listening is believing. The great amount of 'try again' energy  slowly started to disappear and doubts started to settle in. Can I do it? I would ask my self before i went for something. I started to give up without  trying and sat in a roller coaster down hill.

I have grown up now and I dont dare to touch the heater , fall down again so that i learn how to not get burnt  and how to not fall. I have turned into a machine whose input is in the hands of the people around me. I do as they say hoping this may lead me to a better future. Now I am worried about how it would turn out if i take one wrong decision, I don't have the guts to make a wrong choice.

Am I chained by the society I ask my self deep down in my heart when i am alone, Am I turning out to be as I thought of when i was a child? is this what I wanted ? Am I free to make decisions even if they are wrong? These are the questions that came up WHEN I GREW UP!!!
